Data-powered SEO testing
Without testing, SEO and GEO are just guesswork. SearchPilot provides enterprise data teams with the framework and insights they need to measure SEO and GEO impact with the same rigor as CRO and product experimentation.
Make evidence-backed decisions. Validate hypotheses. Isolate causality. Prove the real SEO impact of every change.
Why enterprise sites need SEO A/B testing
Enterprise data analysts already forecast demand, track funnel performance, and monitor product category trends. But due to algorithm changes, competition, and seasonality that distort visibility, SEO is still the hardest channel to measure. SEO A/B testing helps.
- Make evidence-based decisions. Instead of relying on guesswork, SEOs can test to see what works before rolling out changes, so every one is backed by data.
- Forecast more accurately. Gain more insight into your website and how visitors respond to specific changes. Use this data to enhance the accuracy of your demand and traffic forecasts.
- Quantify SEO ROI. Attribute the ROI that is often credited to broader marketing or external factors directly to search. Measure search conversion funnel performance and gain valuable learnings from each change.
- Build credibility and confidence. Work smarter by focusing time, budget, and resources on channels that drive the most growth.
How SearchPilot works
We don’t split users, we split pages. Each page has one version, one page to crawl, one robust result. Here’s why SearchPilot is the go-to SEO testing tool.
- Advanced bucketing. Outlier detection, clustering, and filtering algorithms are applied before testing begins to ensure control and variant groups are statistically similar. This accounts for various data sources, traffic patterns and pages with low traffic or fluctuating metrics, isolating the impact of the tested change.
- More precise forecasts. SearchPilot’s Bayesian Priors approach uses stronger, research-backed priors than Causal Impact models. These provide a more focused expectation of the time series, leading to more accurate forecasts.
- Dynamic Adjustments. Our model continuously forecasts the control group's performance, then we directly adjust the variant group’s forecast to account for external factors. This ensures uplifts reflect interventions and not outside influences.
Any platform, no coding required
SearchPilot integrates with any setup. Choose from Proxy, API, or Edge. We apply tests directly to your HTML, so there are no source code changes. We work with any CMS, CDN, or server.
Built to handle high traffic
We use a high-availability infrastructure across 8 global data centers in AWS. We are trusted by some of the world’s highest-traffic websites and biggest names in e-commerce.
A unique testing methodology
Our proprietary neural network model considers factors like seasonality, competitor activity, algorithm updates and AI influence, so you’ll only ever act on tests with proven wins.
Easy analytics integration
SearchPilot connects to Google Analytics (including GA360) and Adobe Analytics, as well as enabling custom reports to help you communicate test results to your organization.
Why data analysts love working with SearchPilot
We’ve spent years refining our neural network model to improve the sensitivity and accuracy of our SEO A/B tests. We’ve trained our proprietary model on vast amounts of data, enabling our platform to detect minor traffic increases based on lower visitor numbers with higher confidence. It accounts for external influences, such as seasonality, competitor activity, and search engine algorithm updates. This means greater accuracy, reliable forecasts, and attributable ROI for data analysts.
Automated analysis
SearchPilot’s analysis is automated, freeing you from from routine number crunching and enabling you to focus on higher-value tasks.
Greater sensitivity
Our algorithm spots smaller changes based on lower visitor numbers, quickly and with confidence. This way, you don’t roll out losers.
Professional services
From designing tests to validating results, our experts combine knowledge, experience and tools to help you on your SEO testing journey.
Model reliability
With only a 5% false positive rate in A/A tests (where no change is made), our model demonstrates exceptional reliability.
Data autonomy
While analysis is automated, we encourage and enable you to export data and conduct your own analyses alongside our valuable insights.
Continuous Improvement
SearchPilot continuously refines its model using an internal platform that runs side-by-side tests against a library of thousands of historical tests.
Adaptability
The model is also re-trained for each new test, adapting to Google's frequent algorithm updates and client-specific page behaviors.
Addressing SUTVA
SearchPilot upholds "Stable Unit Treatment Value Assumption" (SUTVA) by maintaining bucket assignments during tests.
Internal linking tests
For cross-section tests, like internal linking, SearchPilot buckets sources and destinations together to prevent crossover.
We already meet your data and security standards
Security and compliance
We approach security both at a user level and at a systems level. We work with independent third parties to certify our security and compliance procedures. We’re ISO27001 certified (very similar to SOC2) and HIPAA compliant. We also undergo regular penetration testing from a security consultancy.
Service provider assessments
For e-commerce sites, we are assessed as a PCI DSS v3.1 Service Provider. Upon request, we can provide an Attestation of Compliance and our information security policies. We run quarterly internal and external Approved Scanning Vendors (ASV) scans using two separate providers, overseen by an independent consultant.
Data protection and GDPR
Our system never stores your network traffic or website users’ Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We also sign Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) with our customers, with us serving as the Data Processor for customer data covered under the GDPR.
Robust access and data management
SearchPilot offers a single sign-on (SSO) solution that can be used by any identity provider using SAML. User permissions allow you to grant or restrict capabilities across team members, and engineers can get specific permissions to update their origin server details and control failover.
